WRITING ON THE BACK OF THE TRAY READS:
The Blackthorn tree heralds the arrival of Spring. Its elegant, creamy flowers bloom before its leaves unfurl. This startling burst of white marks Winter’s end. It symbolizes overcoming and the positive transformation that struggle can bring. In Irish folklore Blackthorn has a darker reputation. It was believed to be guarded by ‘the good people’ or fairies and these secretive fairies played tricks on those who dared to bring its branches indoors. Enjoy this tray indoors and out, just don’t blame us if ‘the good people’ put thorns in your bed.
MANUFACTURING DETAILS:
Glue, varnish and decoration consist of melamine-dipped paper. Melamine is an organic compound and used to make our products durable. It is also the melamine that makes them water-resistant. The melamine is tightly bound in our products, something we ensure by having the products undergo a Food Contact Test.
In production, we use neither water nor solvents and we are constantly trying to improve by striving to minimise our use of energy and materials as well as cutting the length and number of transports. Whatever waste there is, is recycled.
