About the Bundle of 4 Pocket Sculptures
A collection of four bronze pocket sculptures cast directly from four shells gathered along the west coast of Ireland. The collection comprises a crab claw found on the shore at Ballalyon Beach, Inisboffin, a sea urchin from Murvagh Beach, Mulranny, an auger shell from Elly Bay, Belmullet and a cockle shell from Old Head Beach, Louisburgh.
All four are cast in solid bronze, to preserve the delicate texture and form of the original shells. Made to be carried, held or attached to a bag or set of keys, as an everyday reminder of our connection with the Atlantic Ocean.

The story behind this product
When we walk along a beach, we are all compelled to rummage and search for a special shell. Often we then carry these small keepsakes home with us as reminders of a place that is special to us, a person or a moment in time. Over time, these shell keepsakes become more than just a shell - they begin to carry our memories too.
Our pocket sculpture series celebrates this practice, the beauty of natural forms and the desire to hold onto a special connection and carry it close.
